Community-based fundraising program Sock Out Cancer® gives everyone an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients through our work with local hospital foundations. Every dollar donated through various fundraising initiatives including sales of our unique striped patterned socks and benefit concerts, is distributed by the hospital foundations to patients in need of financial assistance to help pay for basic non-medical needs such as food, housing, and transportation to medical treatments.

 

 

Every Donation Helps

  • We welcome contributions on behalf of family members and loved ones who are battling cancer.

  • We accept donations in memory of someone who fought a noble battle with cancer, in lieu of flowers or other gifts.

  • We host several fundraising events throughout the year, and all proceeds go towards the goal of helping patients and families.

How We Help

100% of every dollar donated goes towards the goal of helping patients and their families. Our grants provide assistance with non-medical expenses, which may be challenging to pay during a patient’s treatment and recovery, including:

  • Mortgage or rent payments

  • Utilities

  • Groceries

  • Gas cards

  • School supplies

  • Other living expenses
